Greek Sloppy Joes

(Serves 6)

Indulge in a Mediterranean twist on a classic favorite with our Greek Sloppy Joe recipe. This savory, messy delight is the perfect weeknight meal the whole family will enjoy. Let’s get to cooking!

You Will Need

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
Tomato sauce (1 15 oz can)
1 packet Riega Sloppy Joe Seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to season
6 brioche buns or buns or choice
1 small red onion, sliced for topping
1 small cucumber, sliced for topping
½ cup crumbled feta cheese for topping

  1. In a large skillet, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain excess fat if needed. 
  2. To the beef, add the Sloppy Joe seasoning, oregano, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and stir. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 8-10 minutes until slightly thickened. 
  3. Add the beef mixture to the buns, top with feta, red onion, sliced cucumber and enjoy!
